These last twenty plus years have found me not only associated with Sabari Vidyalaya but also literally breathing the same. I am happy with the progress made in the last twenty-five years but.... I envisage much more for I wish to see our banner flying high on the firmament of success and achievement. The staff has worked together to achieve laurels but I wish the staff to show more team spirit and single mindedness in commitment. Our greatest responsibility is to pass on a legacy that the coming generation can be proud of. The old adage rightly says, "An ounce of loyalty is worth more than a pound of cleverness" ability is important, but dependability is crucial.

In 1968 Malayalees of Baroda have organized themselves into a forum known as Ayyappa Seva Samiti for conducting annual Ayyappa Pooja. Initially the acitivities of this Organization were confined to conduct the Pooja festival. With the swelling of the membership, the organization thought of entering into the field of Social Service. At that point of time, there was a crying need for good English Medium Schools in Baroda. Thus was born the Ayyappa Education Centre under the aegis of which Sabari Vidyalaya is being run. Sabari Vidyalaya had a very humble begining. Today, it gives me great satisfaction that through the grace of Loard Ayyappa, we have a school building of our own with adequate provisions for play. Ground and other infrastructure facilities. We have classes from play group to Higher Secondary - both general and Science Streams, Our focus is on the quality of our students. For us, in Sabari Vidyalaya high performance in the board exam is directly proportional to proficient teaching.

Our emphasis is on moulding the character our children and make ideal citizens and prepare them for shouldering the future responsibilities of this nation.

Sabari Vidyalaya has five buses for transportation of the students from different parts of the city.Two important factors in the development of any organization are commitment of the members and the acceptance of its activities by the society. I offer my sincere thanks to the parents, teachers and other staff members of Sabari Vidyalaya for all support and co-operation in making our efforts successful and I trust the same would continue in future as well.
